How Our Training Delivery Works
We offer flexible, tailored delivery formats designed to fit around your nursery's shift patterns, staffing ratios, and budget. You can choose to complete your chosen Stage or course using any of the delivery methods below.
Group Sizes
Standard Cohort (Up to 10 Participants): Live interactive remote learning for up to 10 staff members per session.
Large Cohort (Up to 20 Participants): To maintain strict quality standards and interactive practice, groups of up to 20 are split into two separate, dedicated teaching cohorts.
Flexible Scheduling & Instalment Options
Custom Pace: Pacing can be tailored to your setting’s schedule, ranging from 1 hour per week up to 10 hours per week.
Flexible Payment Installments: Course costs can be spread across monthly installments based on your setting's chosen timeframe.

EYFS BSL Staff Training Stage-by-Stage Breakdown & Bespoke Modules
Stage 1: Introductory Communication & Everyday Vocabulary (60 Hours)
Focusing on foundational BSL communication to establish basic conversational fluency. Practitioners learn to understand and use simple words and sentences, follow directions, and navigate everyday statements.
- Topics Covered: Animals and Objects, Describing People, Directions, Food and Drink, Interests and Activities, Meeting People, Sharing Information, Transport, Using Numbers, Weather.
Stage 2: Varied Themes & Conversational Fluency (120 Hours)
Expanding into broader thematic communication to build conversational confidence, descriptive detail, and expressive depth across four core domains.
- Theme 1 (Everyday Conversation): Personalities, emotions, daily routines, health, and well-being.
- Theme 2 (Eating & Drinking): Meals, food preparation, dining experiences, and habits.
- Theme 3 (Travel & Holidays): Booking transport, accommodation, holiday activities, and travel.
Stage 3: Advanced Social Interaction, Grammar & Culture (150 Hours)
Mastering sustained signed communication, complex BSL grammar, humour, formal advice, and emotional nuance across professional and social contexts.
- Topics Covered: Home life, social and recreational activities, education and training, community role, daily living, and Deaf history and culture.
